At Pathfinder, we stand firmly behind the engineering, safety, and rugged craftsmanship of every product we build. We want you to head into the backcountry with absolute confidence, knowing your setup is fully protected. Therefore, we offer a structured Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty on our gear, starting directly from the original date of purchase.
2. Warranty Duration & Product Classification

All Standard Gear & Equipment - 2-Year Limited Warranty: We provide a 2-Year Limited Warranty on all our standard gear across the site, including but not limited to Vehicle Mod Kits, Flatbed Systems, Cabinetry, Kitchen Galley Systems, Roof-Top Tents, Awnings, Mounting Brackets, and Recovery Tools.

All Battery & Power Systems - 6-Year Extended Warranty: As a testament to our off-grid energy technology, all battery and power storage products offered on our site—including all LiFePO4 Lithium Batteries and Portable Power Stations—are upgraded to an elite 6-Year (72-Month) Limited Warranty. (Years 1–3 feature full component replacement coverage; Years 4–6 are evaluated on a manufacturer-approved prorated basis).
3. What is Covered?
This warranty strictly covers any documented manufacturing defects in structural materials, electronics, or factory workmanship under normal, designated use. If a product fails or becomes structurally compromised due to an inherent factory defect during its respective warranty period, Pathfinder will repair or replace the item, components, or hardware at no cost to you.
4. What is Not Covered?
This limited warranty does not cover damages resulting from environmental factors, secondary vehicle accidents, or user negligence. Specific exclusions include:

Normal cosmetic wear and tear accumulated from trail use, including trail pin-striping, minor paint chips, stone abrasions, and natural sun-fading of tent/awning fabrics.

Damage caused by improper self-installation, failing to follow official instruction manuals, vehicle accidents, rollovers, or exceeding the product’s rated maximum load capacities.

Any unauthorized modifications, cutting, welding, drilling, or physical alterations made to the product after purchase.

For Battery & Power Systems: Battery submersion/water entry, terminal short-circuits due to improper series/parallel bank configuration without matching voltage, overloading portable inverters past continuous limits, or utilizing deep-cycle storage cells as an engine starting/cranking battery.
5. How to File a Claim
To initiate a seamless warranty review, please contact our support team via email at support@pathfinder.com with the following required information:

Clear, well-lit photos and/or a short video showing the specific defect or compromised component.
Our technical support team will meticulously review your submission within 48 hours to determine eligibility and coordinate the necessary repair components, freight logistics, or replacement processing.
