Shipping Policy

1. Free Standard Shipping & Regional Availability

At Pathfinder, we believe your adventure shouldn’t be weighed down by extra costs. We are proud to offer Free Standard Ground Shipping on all orders within the contiguous United States (Lower 48). No minimum purchase is required.

  • Exclusions: We currently do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, or international destinations.

  • P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO Addresses: Due to courier restrictions and the size/nature of our professional-grade equipment and power systems, we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses. All orders require a physical residential or commercial street address.

2. Order Processing & Fulfillment

  • Processing Time: Most orders are processed, packed, and ready to dispatch within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and major U.S. holidays).

  • Domestic Warehousing: All gear is dispatched directly from our domestic U.S. fulfillment centers to ensure transit security and the fastest possible delivery to your doorstep.

  • Order Tracking: Once your shipment is labeled and dispatched, an automated confirmation email containing your tracking number (UPS, FedEx, or USPS) will be sent. Please allow 24–48 hours for the carrier’s network to update the initial tracking status.

3. Estimated Delivery Times & Carrier Methods

Estimated delivery windows depend on the product dimensions, weight, and classification:

Equipment Classification Estimated Delivery Window Carrier & Logistics Methods
Standard Gear & Accessories 3–7 Business Days UPS / FedEx / USPS Ground
Heavy-Duty & Oversized Gear (e.g., Roof-Top Tents, Flatbed Systems, Cabinetry) 7–10 Business Days Specialized LTL Freight Carriers

4. Special Regulations for Lithium Batteries (Power Systems)

Our Elite Series LiFePO₄ batteries and Portable Power Stations are classified as Class 9 Hazardous Materials under U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and PHMSA regulations.

  • These items must ship via specialized ground transportation routes only.

  • Expedited or air shipping methods are strictly prohibited for these products.

  • Delivery to certain remote routing zones within the Lower 48 may require additional transit time due to strict hazardous material transit compliance.

5. Critical LTL Freight Delivery Policies (For Oversized Cargo)

For heavy-duty freight shipments (including but not limited to Camper Boxes, Flatbed Trays, and Roof-Top Tents), the following industry-standard terms apply:

  • Curbside Delivery Only: All LTL freight shipments are strictly Curbside Delivery. The carrier is only responsible for moving the palletized freight to the edge of the driveway/curb. Drivers will not move equipment into garages, backyards, or homes.

  • Delivery Appointment: The freight carrier will contact you via the phone number provided at checkout to schedule a delivery window. You (or a designated adult aged 18+) must be present during this window to inspect and sign for the cargo. Failure to meet the carrier may result in redelivery fees billed directly to the customer.

  • Liftgate Service Note: Free shipping includes standard freight routing. If your delivery location lacks a loading dock or a forklift, a liftgate service may be required to lower the product from the truckbed. Please review your tracking details to ensure liftgate service is arranged.

6. Freight Inspection & Damage Claims (Important)

Before signing the carrier’s Delivery Receipt (BOL / Bill of Lading), you are legally required to inspect the exterior packaging and the product itself for any signs of transit damage.

  • Visible Damage: If the box or wrapping is heavily torn, crushed, or punctured, or if the product inside is visibly compromised, you must document the damage with clear photos, note "Product Damaged" on the driver’s receipt, and REFUSE the shipment.

  • Concealed Damage: If you discover damage after unboxing a signed-for delivery, you must report it to Pathfinder Customer Support with photographic evidence within 48 hours of delivery. Signing the delivery receipt without noting damage releases the carrier from liability, making subsequent freight claims significantly more difficult to resolve.
